Ikwekwezi FM is a full-spectrum radio station. It serves the Ndebele-speaking community by offering educational, informative, music and entertainment content.
Its line-up includes news reports, sports programmes, talk shows on current affairs and lifestyle, entertainment shows, radio dramas and music shows. Its music repertoire covers a wide range of genres, including traditional songs. The station also encourages music submission by local artists as a way to support their work.
Ikwekwezi FM broadcasts to Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Gauteng on FM frequencies. It is also available on channel 804 on DSTv. Additionally, live streaming service, as well as podcasts of the main shows, are available on the station’s website.
Ligwalagwala FM is a SiSwati-speaking radio station broadcasting to Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Gauteng using FM frequencies and live streaming worldwide. Its purpose is to provide to the community radio content that is fresh and joyful and educational while being informative and entertaining too.
The station offers a line-up that combines news reports with the latest local, national and global developments, sports programmes, competitions and music shows and entertainments shows. Its music repertoire is mainly focused on genres such as Contemporary Jazz, Kwaito, Maskandi/Mbaqanga, Afro Pop, Hip-Hop, House, Gospel and Reggae, with local music accounting for 70% of its music content, as the station accepts music submissions from the community.
